Stop by and vote for my new music video on MTV!

Blogger Lindsay Says:

Upfront, this is the Freshmen video I am pulling for this week. It’s adorable and clever and quirky. (It has a talking flame! And a singing audience of muppets!) The song itself is, in a word, wonderful. While it discussing rather disheartening topics, the melody remains so fast-paced that you’re not sure how to feel, much like the song’s subject. Very, very well done.

Thanks!

I needed to cut together a demo reel for that panel discussion a few weeks ago with Dave Levy and Brown Johnson, so I thought I’d share it.

The video Will and I made for Miles Kurosky’s new album has been touring the festival circuit for a while, but it’s finally online as of today!

I thought I’d try to make the simplest Maya character rig I possibly could, with plenty of blendshapes for dialog animation. It might be a bit tricky to animate, since the geometry is two-dimensional – only 60 polygons. If that bugs you, just select all the faces and extrude it out a bit. Or smooth it. Go nuts.

Here’s a little intro film I made for the International College Peace Film Festival in Seoul, Korea. I don’t understand their website, but a trip to Seoul will be fun. Isam Prado helped out with animation. I’ll be attending the festival to do a workshop on independent animation production. If it turns out well, I’ll try it in New York sometime when I get home!

I just wanted to share a portfolio of my work that I recently put together.
